On September 16, 2017, the Centre for Mentorship and Theological Reflection hosted a special event at Tyndale Seminary to mark the 500th anniversary of the Reformation. It was a rich evening of fellowship and reflection upon the life, theology, and legacy of Martin Luther. Video of the evening’s presentations have now been posted online.
The keynote address delivered by Alister McGrath (Andreas Idreos Professor of Science and Religion and Director of Ian Ramsey Centre for Science and Religion at the University of Oxford), entitled, “Luther’s Reformation and the Renewal of the Church: An Historic Event – A Contemporary Resource” can be viewed here.
Tyndale Seminary Professor of Theology Victor Shepherd delivered a meditation upon Luther’s great hymn “A Mighty Fortress is Our God,” which can be seen here.
The Centre’s founder Dennis Ngien (Professor of Systematic Theology at Tyndale Seminary) delivered the closing address of the evening on the theme of “Family and Marriage in Luther,” which is available here.
