I am a theologian, pastor, and author, who is passionate about equipping congregations and individual Christians to fully live out their missional calling in the contemporary post-Christendom Canadian context.

After many years in the Toronto area, during which time I taught a variety of theology courses at Tyndale Seminary, a preaching course at Wycliffe College, and spoke at many GTA-area churches, I accepted an appointment to Providence Theological Seminary in Manitoba, where I now serve as Associate Professor of Theology and Ethics.

I was ordained in the Congregational Christian Churches in Canada and served as a pastor at Good Shepherd Community Church in Scarborough for close to eight years.  I am now a Minister of Word and Sacrament in good standing within the Presbyterian Church in Canada.

My doctorate, granted by Wycliffe College at the University of Toronto, focused on the place of Jesus Christ and the church in the theologies of Dietrich Bonhoeffer and Stanley Hauerwas.
